Following the awesomeness of book one in the Spotless series, we have an equally original and entertaining sequel with Beating Ruby.

March leaving Island hit her hard, but she is determined to move on in her life by throwing herself into her job developing a new high-tech program, and even trying her hand at a normal romance in the form of Alex, a nice and patient guy.

Everything seems to be working out--until her boss is murdered, the program stolen, and Island is drawn into the investigation. Alex isn't who he said he was, March comes barging back into her life, carnivorous platypuses are involved in the conspiracy, and Island is pulled left and right by the two men she, at one time or another, trusted.

Humor and action, revenge and romance, Beating Ruby is a brilliant sequel and set up for book three in the Spotless Series.
