This is the novella between books three and four in a series, to read the review of book three click here!

Diamond Fire is a perfect way to transition reading the Hidden Legacy series from Nevada's POV to Catalina's. I'm always nervous when a series switches POV in the middle of it, but I know Ilona Andrews wouldn't do this without careful care and consideration. It means they have some great things planned for the Baylor family and with the little teases we get of Alessandro I think we know who the love interest is going to be, here's hoping he stands up to Connor's looming shadow!

I am loving this series so far, it's a little lighter than The Edge, reminiscent of Kate Daniels--Magic Strikes to be exact. Also having the series set in a city I live by has continued to be a very fun reading experience.

Fingers crossed for Catalina's book!
