Ilona Andrews delivers a brilliant and dazzling third book in their Hidden Legacy series. The final book in Nevada’s trilogy, but by no means is it the end of the story.

Wildfire was full of ups and downs, lefts and rights. My initial rating was four and a half stars, but, after several series rereads, I've come to appreciate the downs as much as the ups and have bumped it to five.

Nevada and Connor are in the fight for their lives, and for their own personal happiness. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how on earth it would all be resolved. The main conflict of the series seems to be coming to a head. Betrayal, murder, and mayhem ensue.

In the aftermath of White Hot that left Houston shaken, Nevada agrees to help the last person she ever wanted to meet--Connor's ex-fiance--find her missing husband. At first, I hated the ex and her attempts to come between Nevada and Conor, but, in the end, I simply pitied her. A storm is brewing in Houston and old flames are the least of Nevada's problems.

Though this book mildly feels like a conclusion, there is still more to come. While I’ll be sad to not read from Nevada’s POV moving forward, I am excited for the future this world has to offer through new eyes in the next books.
